These are high quality, 2880 x 1440 dpi, archival prints using the new Epson Stylus Pro 4000 8 color printer, printed on Museo Max, 250gsm, 15mil using archival inks. Prints are expected to last over 70 years if taken care of properly.
WHICH PAINTINGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRINTS?
As you browse through my site 95% of what you see is available for prints. In my portfolio section ("My Portfolio" button) most the images are available for prints. In my Stock Art section ALL of the images are available for prints. Some paintings work better as prints for your home than others. But you never can tell what someone might want. So I make as many of them available for prints as I can.
HOW DO I ORDER?
Find a painting on my site either in the Portfolio Section or Stock Art Section then choose the size of print you want. There are three ways to order. Prints can be ordered online using our secure server. You can also order by fax, mail, or phone.
WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?
Protecting your credit card information is a priority. Credit card orders are processed using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts all personal information including your credit card number, name, and address. With this encryption, only the credit card processor can decode your information. I use PayPal, the number one online credit Card processing service for small businesses, with over 17 million members. It is very secure.
HOW CAN I PAY?
I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, E-Checks as well as personal checks or money orders. Note, prints paid for by personal check will not shipped until the check clears (up to 5 business days after deposited).
HOW WILL THEY BE DELIVERED, AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
Basically shipping is included in the price of the print. Prints are shipped in a thick cardboard tube within 5 days of ordering. When ordering 1-5 prints at a time, shipping costs will be the same. Ordering over 5 prints at one time shipping costs are more but kept to minimum. (Orders paid for by check are shipped once the check clears.) Orders are shipped by UPS Ground, U.S. Priority Mail, or FedEx. A street address is required for all orders. If you are driving distance from my studio you can come by and pick them up to avoid all shipping & handing costs.
ARE THE PRINTS MATTED OR FRAMED?
Prints are sold unmatted and unframed. If you would like some suggestions on how to mat and frame my prints please contact me to discuss your needs.
WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?
If you should need to return or exchange an item, please contact Jay Montgomery at 770.309.6004 or jay@jaymontgomery.com. If you're not completely satisfied return your order in original condition with an explanation via insured UPS of FedEx within 30 days. A refund will be made (less a 10% restocking fee).
HOW DO I CARE FOR THE PRINTS?
Giclée prints, like any fine art on paper, should be handled with care, to maintain their aesthetic and economic value. They should come in contact only with other acid free materials, whether in storage, exhibition, or when being handled. Only acid-free mats and backing materials, as well as UV glass, should be used for framing. When being handled, prints should be touched only by the edges (preferably with cotton gloves). And pay attention to environmental factors. Prints (like any art) should never be subjected to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or extreme or fluctuating humidity conditions.
Direct, harsh light, especially ultraviolet light, can fade colors and make paper brittle over time. Prints should be framed using UV glass. Excessive moisture can cause buckling or mold over time. Excessive dryness can also adversely affect paper. Prints should be checked periodically for signs of damage from these and other environmental factors such as pollution, contaminants, or insects.
WHAT REPRODUCTION RIGHTS ARE TRANSFERRED?
